I am committed to providing authentic, compassionate, and insightful support as I journey with my clients through anger, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem and confidence, burnout and a variety of other life stressors. I have a passion for creating a safe place for everyone who walks in to my office, regardless of what they are bringing with them. I use a client-centered approach to counselling, meaning I use a variety of counselling models and techniques to meet the unique needs of the client. I specifically pull from emotionally focused approaches, attachment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

I have close to a decade of experience working with youth and hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate for Adults Who Interact with Youth. I have a special interest in supporting families to create long term, systemic change.

I have had the immense privilege of working with individuals, couples and families, meeting them where they are at and joining them on their journey towards health. I have my master’s of divinity in clinical counselling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

I love people! My favourite day consists of movies in front of the fire with friends and family engaged together. I have a special affinity for all things Disney and am most settled and at peace when I am near a body of water (preferably with sand and sun!).

I really look forward to working with you!

As an MACP practicum student psychotherapist, I work from a person-centred foundation that prioritizes safety, trust, and genuine human connection. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel deeply heard and supported as they explore their inner world. While my core orientation is person-centred, I bring a growing interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), integrating these approaches in a holistic way that honours each person’s unique experience. My goal is to guide clients toward increased self-awareness, emotional clarity, and empowered choice, helping them deepen their understanding of themselves and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and resilience. As I continue my training, I remain committed to cultivating a therapeutic presence marked by openness, curiosity, and respect. I view therapy as a shared journey, one in which the client’s wisdom and autonomy are central, and I work to meet each individual where they are, at a pace that feels right for them. Beyond my clinical work, I have also worked for the past 6 years as a Core French teacher which has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and appreciation for different learning styles. In my free time, I enjoy reading, trying new foods, and spending time cooking and baking. I also value time with family and friends and like to include gentle movement in my routine. These everyday activities help me stay balanced and present in my work with others!
